Sculpture Painting Drawing

Completed 2021. Retired antique fishbox scale from the halcyon days of fishing in Shinnecock, Long Island circa 1950’s (although could be much older). The puppet was made in 2013 while living in Staten Island, NY. This type of figure is now appearing in a new collection I’m working on, so it’s finally come out of the box and found its metaphor. I’m always interested in incorporating the well-made tools of the past. 44” x 20” x 33”
